LAND SURVEYS

BOUNDARY SURVEY

Property surveys are done to determine or confirm land boundaries, such as the plot of land a home sits on, and identify other types of restrictions and conditions that apply to the legal description of a property.

COMMERCIAL SURVEY

Commercial surveys will show the boundary of the property as well as the improvements located on the property, any building lines and easements that are shown on the recorded plat or disclosed the schedule b items as disclosed per the title commitment, and any requirements from the lender.

LINE STAKING

Property line staking is helpful anytime you need a visual marker of your property boundaries. Because this is a tangible survey with visual results, no survey map or plans are provided with property line staking. Rather, verification of the property line measurements against the recorded deed is provided along with marks on the property line with wooden stakes.

TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY

A topographic survey locates all surface features of a property and depicts all natural features and elevations. In essence it is a 3-dimensional map of a 3-dimensional property showing all natural and man-made features and improvements. Specifically, it shows their location, size, height and any changes in elevation.
