Platting/  Replating

A plat is a map document based on a survey that shows land subdivision, land classification, or a change in property boundaries and is required before building permitting. Replatting is a critical process in land surveying that involves restructuring or redefining existing property boundaries within a specific parcel of land. This service is often necessary when land ownership changes, when subdivisions are created, or when modifications to an existing plat are needed. Replatting helps ensure accurate documentation of property details and compliance with local regulations. The platting process has several phases that involve combining survey information based on local requirements and then submitting this gathered information for recording. The steps involved include plat preparation, plat representation, and recording.
